Founder & Executive Director

Alonda Malone is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of It Takes a Village Ohio, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe, structured, and supportive environments for vulnerable youth and families. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care, emphasizing structure, dignity, and sustainable support systems.

Alonda studied Business Management at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University and is a Master Certified Life Coach. She previously served as Director of Operations and Vice President at Legacy Residential Homes, where she led program development, compliance, and operations.

With over 20 years of caregiving experience, Alonda continues to lead with vision and purpose, expanding pathways to stability, independence, and long-term success for the individuals and communities she serves.
